You will also need to have impressions of your teeth made to help guide the fabrication of your veneers. This step is crucial as it ensures a precise and exact match. Once your teeth are prepared and impressions have been taken, you will be given temporary veneers to maintain your appearance until your next appointment. Porcelain Veneer Placement
Once your final veneers are ready to be placed, you will return to Dr. Bessler's office for their placement. Before bonding each veneer to your tooth, you and Dr. Bessler will review the size, color, shape, and fit of the veneer to ensure maximum comfort and function. Once any slight adjustments are made, your veneers can be bonded into place. Your tooth or teeth will be lightly etched to create a rough surface, a necessary step to achieve the strongest bond. Dr. Bessler will apply the bonding adhesive to your tooth, place the veneer, adjust its position, and then use a special dental light that activates the cementation of the adhesive. Your veneers will provide an instantly improved smile once they are in place.
